I came up with the idea of Busboy on the bus home from my shift at an English Pub in Toronto during the deep freeze of winter.
Like any young guy I was obsessed with the idea of having my own café/bar/restaurant that my buddies could come to, to eat and drink. I eventually settled on the thought that a foodtruck would be right up my alley.
The goal was in place and I was desperate to make it happen when I returned back to Australia.
All grand ideas cost money and traveling the world is expensive. I returned home broke but still keen to get something off the ground. The idea of a food truck was scaled down into a cargo bike. The dream was alive and the build began.
Fast forward 6 years later and Busboy is up and running and we have just received shipment on a new fleet of cargo bikes we are turning into more Busboy food carts (more on that later) and a brand new project called Brewboy – Beer Bike.
We want to bring the brewery tasting bar experience to our clients and guests. Visiting a brewery is an immersive experience. You can often share a beer and a yarn with the brewer, touch and smell raw ingredients all the while sampling some fresh local produce straight from the tap.
The amount of effort put into hand crafted beer and cider is celebrated in pubs, bars, bottle shops and of course breweries. Brewboy is bringing this experience to you.
We are custom building a cargo bike capable of pouring 2 kegs of beer/cider available for events, brand promotion, Friday drinks, back yard parties and parties.
We have launched a crowd funding campaign through Pozible.com to help us reach our goal. We have packaged up some unique rewards for you guys to help us kick the target out of the park.
We welcome any questions, ideas, and comments to email@example.com .
Do you want to contribute to our campaign but no rewards take your fancy? No problem – please get in touch and we can tailor something together to suit your next event. We are hugely grateful for any support.
